July 21, 2011 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #50 Item Title C-2 Appointment of Board Member and Private Citizen to the Value Adjustment Board beginning 8-1-11 to 7-31-12 Issue/Rationale Florida Statute 194.015 requires that the School Board of each county annually elect one person from its membership to serve a one year term on the Value Adjustment Board.  Additionally, the School Board must appoint a citizen member of the Value Adjustment Board, which citizen must own a business occupying commercial space located within the school district.
